Earlier this year my friend Rebecca packed up her boss lady bags and decided to relocate from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas. She invited me along as her trusty co-pilot for the journey and I couldn’t say no because I love an adventure and road trips are just such great bonding opportunities. Nothing cements fond memories better than salty corn nuts, beef jerky, and truck stop bathroom breaks. We had an ambitious itinerary and didn’t get to make every stop on our list, but we did manage to uncover some amazing gems along the way.
