Ladies, I have tried on and personally own at least one pair of each of the boots featured above. All but style #4 (which I recently blogged about here) cost just $50 or less, so as you might imagine I went a little crazy this season and snapped up multiple colors and styles.
This is the first time in my life that I’ve owned truly tall boots because it has historically been so difficult to find attractive styles that fit my calves. Each of the boot styles featured above are able to accommodate larger calf muscles up to at least 16″ in circumference. Here’s to rocking style and trends at any size!
Speaking of which, I want to take a moment to highlight the fact that March is officially Women’s History Month. International Women’s Day is this Sunday, March 8th, 2015 and there is a very special event happening this weekend. It’s called the March in March and it was created by the UN Women for Peace Association.
Women’s Rights are Human Rights. But as you read these words, nearly 5 million women and girls are living in slavery, victims of human trafficking. 60 million more are child brides, and 140 million live with the pain of enforced genital mutilation. These are more than just numbers, they are our mothers, sisters, and daughters. The United Nations Women for Peace Association will hold its third annual march to end violence against women on March 8th, 2015.
My friend Therese will be in New York to march, but even if you can’t attend in person you can still join us in the mission to stand up for women around the world.
To show your support for the March in March, you can post a picture or video of your feet walking with the hashtag #iwalk4women on social media.

Hi! Did you listen to Emma Watson’s speech? It was very interesting, and refreshing to see that she’s a star but she’s deep at the same time. Best regards from Spain,
Marta

Hi Marta! Muchas gracias for stopping by to say hello!
Yes, I love Emma Watson. I actually wrote a follow up to her original #HeForShe speech on my blog a few months ago, in case you’d like to read it?

Lovely picks! I’ve never been interested in heel boots since it’s so slippery anyway in the winter. So Calvin Klein Women’s Gladys Equestrian Boot would be the safest choice for me.

Probably right about that, Mai! I think I’d likely only wear the heeled ones in fall/spring if I lived in a snowy area.
